Sorry for the issues with the website these past few days. Funny how when I went through a few weeks of not wanting to write, the site worked perfectly fine. Then, when I wanted to write, it was down!
Oh well. Seems like everything is working now!
I actually had a fun, eventful weekend: My sister, a friend from Nebraska and I took a road trip down to Norman, Oklahoma! One of my really good friends from high school goes to school at the University of Oklahoma, but I never had the chance to visit before. It just so happened to be extra good timing this year, because one of my cousins is a freshman there.
It would have been fun (if not a little embarrassing) to go down the weekend before when Oklahoma was actually playing Kansas in football. As it was, Oklahoma was squaring off against Notre Dame for the “game of the year.” College Game Day by ESPN was even there!
Although I didn’t go to the game, it was fun to experience all the excitement around town… Besides, what we lacked in football, we made up for in delicious food. We never missed a chance to go out for a meal! (Isn’t that one of the best parts of traveling to new places?)
It was also great to spend some time with the girls. I didn’t get as much sleep as I should have, but I’m not complaining.
