I am very excited today to share a guest post from one of my favorite bloggers, Alyx. Even though she’s in the process of moving into a new house, she was nice enough to write a post for me. After reading this, do me a favor and check out her blog!

I promise that this will be quick and painless, and hey – you just might get a laugh or two from it (I actually don’t know yet, because I’m only three sentences in, but we’ll see where it goes from here).
Anyway, my name is Alyx, and I blog over at Every Day is a New Adventure. See, normally I wouldn’t tell you all that boring stuff, but since I’m going to talk about an adventure I’ve had lately, I thought it was fitting. My whole life is a frickin’ adventure. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. I think I’ll spare you the bad adventures (like this one) and stick to the good stuff – like the past 10(ish) months.

I could sit here and bore you to death with more mundane details about my life (you know – shoe size, height, number of pimples currently gracing my face – the boring stuff), but I won’t. Instead, I’d love it if you could put on your adventurous panties and stop by to say, “Hello!“
