Familiar Faces

I try to give proper introductions to new people who appear on my blog. Still, there are some faces that pop up so often that it would be tedious to give a full-on identification each time. Instead, here are a few faces you can expect to see…

Dan

As cliché as it may be, not only is Dan my husband, but he is also my best friend. He makes me stronger, better and happier simply by being himself. It’s also great to have a partner who is by my side in running, biking, hiking and so much more.

We met as students at the University of Kansas and quickly became attached at the hip. We were married in the summer of 2011. He is currently studying to earn his doctorate degree in pharmacy. (I’m the most useless study partner ever. All of the science terms go over my head!)

Tracker

One month after we were married, Dan and I expanded our family by adopting Tracker, a 4-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer. We simply fell in love with her from the moment we looked into her puppy dog eyes.

Marian

Marian is my amazing younger sister. After living in different states for four years, we are finally reunited — she’s going to college in Lawrence! We share a love of baking and hope to open our own bakery some day.
